I just browsed through some of my previous KCW posts - just look at that tiny Wilma...3½ years ago!
And here she is today. A 9 year old 3rd grade young lady.
She has A LOT of dresses and is in urgent need of more basic stuff like simple pants and tees.
Dakar Pants designed by Ikatee in a cognac colored crepe from The Sweet Mercerie paired with a (modified) Banyan Tee in a light weight jersey from Stofdepotet. This exact color is sold out but other colors are available (sale items). Finally we have the nude pink drop shoulder top - made of a super soft and stretchy faux suede from Stofdepotet. This fabric is so good that I had to buy a couple of metres of the three colors available! This top is a modified version of an OOP pattern from Stoff & Stil.
I might copy all of this when it's time for some selfish sewing again.
The colours and the combination of the two: I love it. I would definitely like those pants for myself, so pretty!
SvarSletSo would I. Now I kind of regret that I didn't save that fabric for some selfish sewing.
SletI love this color palette! The patterns are beautiful- I'd make those for myself too! I love the simple silhouettes with those soft colors.
SvarSletI'm crazy about the colors myself - and I would also wear that style in a heartbeat!
SletTrine! This is so so cool! I want this outfit for myself!
SvarSletThanks Eva (and so would I) :-)
SletOh I love these colors together! Fantastic. She's so cute.
SvarSletThank you so much, sweet Kristin :-)
SletFabulous, absolutely fabulous outfit. How is it possible kids grow and change so much in such a short space of time!
SvarSletIt's crazy, right?! My oldest daughter turns 18 in a month...I'm so not ready for that! :-)
