It's the Starlight City Dress designed by Lil Luxe Collection. The pattern comes in two versions; for knits or woven fabrics to be bought seperately. As you can see I opted for the knit version mainly because I had the gorgeous watermelon print jersey fabric from Wcollection that I knew would be PERFECT for the STC dress. The fabric is so so soft - a super quality! I feel tempted to make Wilma a 'To the Moon' dress as well. Or something for Luna....a Luna should have a luna printed something, right?! Sorry, I sweat out my great sense of humor in Italien heat! Yeah, we just got back from holiday and I miss the sun so much already. Denmark is so cold. And rainy.
According to the size chart Wilma's chest measurement puts her in a size 8 but her height puts her in a size 12, so I went for the size 8 bodice but lenghtened it to a size 10/12 and used the length of a size 12 skirt (as I recall it).
Look at the back detail of the dress - the true star. That twisted detail is so good! The fit is pretty perfect and it's fairly easy to sew. The ultimate summer dress.
Hvor er den smuk, og sikke en flot detalje i ryggen.
